A home for all stages
One's
We split our One's into two rooms - Early One's and One's. This gives our teachers the opportunity to work on large developmental milestones in a small group setting.
In our Early One's room, our teachers get to work with children in the crawling stage of life and get them ready for walking! They focus on hands-on learning, extra snuggles, singing, reading books, art projects, and sensory play. The lead teacher, Ms. Marabeth, especially loves doing water play and dancing with the kids!
In our One's room, our teachers work with children on large motor skills like dancing, running, going through tunnels, playing in ball pits, and many other ways to move their whole body. As a group, they love to build and knock down towers. At this age, we start to see emotional connections forming with our kids and teachers. The lead teacher, Ms. Elyse, loves watching the kids learn and complete new tasks like using a fork or spoon to eat their lunch.
